On September 25th, 2020, the 4th Summit on Tall Buildings and High Density Core Area Development and Renewal was successfully held in Suzhou. The summit was chief co-sponsored by the Main Committee of the Summit on Tall Buildings and High Density Core Area Development and Renewal, the Yangtze River Delta Building Society Alliance and East China Construction Group Co., Ltd., with the guidance of the Architectural Society of China and the Committee of High-rise Habitat Environment-ASC, and supported by Shandong Jinjing Science & Technology Stock Co., Ltd. During the summit, more than 40 well-known experts and scholars from both home and abroad delivered keynote speeches, and more than 500 guests gathered on the shores of Jinji Lake to share and discuss new developments and trends in tall buildings and high density core area development and renewal under the theme of "Spatial Innovation, Green Living, Health and Vitality: Optimizing the Quality of High-rise Buildings and High-Density Core Areas".
Mr. Song Chunhua, former Vice Minister of China Construction and former Chairman of the China Institute of Architecture, attended the summit and opened the keynote speech with the title "High-rise High-Density Design and Construction in Resilient Cities", and the speakers focused on the five hot spots of Integrated Development of Core Areas and Urban Vitality Vertical Innovation, Green & Sustainability, Smart Solutions, and Technology Innovations , some based on the present and looking to the future, some combining cases to share experiences, and some integrating human settlements. Sharing and communicating the latest ideas and practices in tall buildings and high-density core area, provides a feast for the audience.
